I know. I have many pros and cons looking at this company. Just weighing them out. The good is REALLY good. But the bad is downright crappy. The tricks you guys use to get around the bad really helps tho.

I will admit, the money was better there...but the b.s. with the shipping, equipment, and shop made working there suck. I miss the money, but don't miss the headaches.

Polly dispatchers aren't really dispatchers. Yes they find your name on the board, call you and read off loads to you but as far as I know it's up to the driver to pick a load he wants according to his hours. You better have enough hours for the load you pick because they won't know.

Learning the board and what lanes you want to run seem to be the issue for alot of new guys. They don't really think about where you're going and possible back haul. They just pick a load and hope for the best. Personally I've never been to our west plant and only been to the north plant maybe 20 times. I know what days the loads I like usually come out and I'm on the board for those days. Sometimes it doesn't work out hence the 20 times going to up north lol.

Just a heads up ... I was down in GP and word is if your truck goes down
and you've been picked up and are in a loaner , and another driver breaks down
within a certain radius they will get him or her to where your truck is and they will grab
it and continue on with it ( provided its ready ) while their truck gets repaired.

I accept its there equipment so they can do as they please ....

In order to protect yourself (CYA) make sure you take photos of your truck when
you drop it off at the dealer and remove your property since the person using your
truck may have it for at least a few days until they get back to GP . Also the photos will
keep you out of trouble if damage occurs .

The keep coming up with new ways to avoid hotel expenses and cost to the company
and keep their product rolling .

because its too much trouble to maintain equipment and prevent breakdowns i guess, easier to find drivers who think all this is normal. lol make sure to leave a full pee bottle for the next driver lmao

I'm not great on math, and I'm not saying the shop is awesome. But all the times you put in here add up to 19 hours to do 5 PMs. At least try and fudge the numbers before sending that out. No Night shift PM'S= 0 Hours. Friday=12 hours. Saturday= 7 hours

Your math, while correct, is useless. No one is interested in the actual time spent literally working on the trucks.

The man is saying it took them over 40 hours (Thursday 0830 until 1300 Saturday) to get his truck back from having nothing more than a PM, and there were only 4 trucks ahead of him.

His point is that's way too much time to only get 5 trucks done, and he's right. That's freaking ridiculous. But, that's what you get when you hire Walmart tire and lube rejects and call them mechanics. Lol

I turn my truck in for a PM, I have it back in 2-3 hours depending on which service it's getting. And, if somehmthing is found, it's repaired right then and there. There's no "Oh, you'll need to get a loaner" b.s.
