I wouldn’t mind getting rid of of the oversize liftgate garbage freight and replacing it with the easy stuff they have.

also liability insurance is curbside, but when the customer sees “put by garage” on my invoice they think I’m suppose to do that and here comes the arguing.
I’ll throw a generator, washing machine, etc in the garage within reason - but not these cabinet pallets, zero turn mowers, etc if your house is uphillTexas_hwy_287 and MACK E-6 Thank this. -

I was hired back on with my seniority intact. I spent the first week back being the butt of everyone's jokes about how I got fired for showing up to work drunk.
As for the technicalities, I was suspended for two weeks and had to see an SAP (Substance Abused Professional). I explained to her the entire situation and she told me to lawyer up and this whole thing was BS. She was sympathetic to my issue and placed me in a two week program to meet the minimum standards just for the sake of getting me back on duty status. This still set me back $650 plus two weeks of lost wages.
Just to be perfectly upfront with everyone that is reading this. The night prior to my test marked the 14 year anniversary of my teamate getting killed when her humvee got hit by an IED. I did drink to her honor just like I do every year for the other six we lost. Not making excuses but that was my state of mind.
The entire context of my issue is that I did blow positive for alcohol the next day and the machine they used crapped out between retesting. Had they just pulled out a second machine or taken my blood and still came out with the same or similar results I would have owned it and dealt with the consequences.
The fact of the matter is my union steward, my business agent, my SAP agent, my management team, and several of my coworkers agreed that using the results of a tampered machine was not fair.
For those still reading this, I will post my statement to a law firm reviewing my case.
Sir or Ma'am,
My name is [redacted] and I am a professional driver that was recently sent out to take a random DoT blood/alcohol test at [redacted] in Lexington. During the breathalyzer portion my initial BAC reading was .05. I was informed that they would have to wait 15 minutes to do a second test to confirm the accuracy of the testing. During the 15 minute wait period the machine that they were using malfunctioned and error messages popped up. Two additional staff members were called in and they proceeded to take the machine apart to service it (battery replacement was their reasoning). They then took a second reading which now stated that my BAC was .04.
I requested a second test with another machine or a blood sample testing because I adamantly disputed the accuracy of the first machine. The staff refused my request and submitted the results of the machine that they tampered with. I ended up being suspended for having a BAC of .02 or greater and I now have a permanent record of a violation with the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse which will negatively impact the prospects of future employment.
I would like to seek legal representation to get my record expunged due to improper testing and their refusal of allowing me to provide a blood sample which would have yielded a more accurate result. Additionally, I would like to explore the prospects of filing legal actions against [redacted] due to loss of pay, reputational damages, and the cost of fees on Substance Abuse Professional programs which were completely unnecessary had the testing been done properly.
Thank you for reviewing my case. I will make myself available for any additional information.surf_avenue, Gearjammin' Penguin, Texas_hwy_287 and 7 others Thank this.
