I mean how hard were you drinking

 

There is nothing more aggravating than getting in another driver’s tractor [my truck was in the shop] to find a complete pig sty and expired paperwork, permits, ifta and registration.

After several months of frustration, I went to the shop and asked for a complete permit packet which I was given. I made up my own binder which I carry with me at all times. Now all I have to do is check my cab registration and ifta registration and stickers when I get in someone else's truck.

I always thought LTL/Linehaul was the Queen Bee of trucking, but I find there’s a ton of lazy people who take their jobs for granted and do as little as possible.

Just my rule of thumb, I dont ever drink during my work week. I dont answer the phone to work on my days off either.

 

@road_runner oh man, brother you sure did cracked me up with the last paragraph.

 

That reminds me of when PIE went under. They used to send us a nice Christmas card every year. Mailed to us. Everybody got one.
The last year they were in business there was one card sent out...it was tacked on the driver's bulletin board under the heading To whom it may concern.
We figured our time was running short.

 

I told a friend just this morning to hurry and get his endorsements ASAP! The hiring spree among LTLs when Yellow collapses will be fast and furious. No way all 9100 drivers find another LTL job so he's got a limited window to get in or get shut out

 

News about Yellow is traveling fast. Half my 401k is in OD company stock and my retirement balance is up 15% from last month!

 

Took a gamble and won today! Decided to stay up and bet on it being slow so I could take a pass on a run to get tonight off . I got a text from work earlier saying I’m off tonight if I want it. YES, 4 day weekend! Have a great 4th of July everyone!
