    Almost got hit today.

I was blind side backing off of a main road US41 have my hazards going honking before the manuever and during the manuever wait for the light to turn red and this kid slams on the gas so from when the other light turned green took him like 300ft to stop in his Honda del Sol he drove it into the ditch.

The kid couldn't of been more than 18. He totally would of died. He would of hit my kingpin area.

I think people don't realize when you're backing the truck has to straight out too

"I" put a kids in the ditch last winter, when he wasn't paying attention to me making aright hand turn and he tried to pass me (on the right).
Had a van between us blocking his view of my turn signal. So he decided that he was going to speed past me. Ended up going almost 50ft in cause he was till accelerating when I saw him and slammed on the brakes.
He would likely have killed us both, cause he would have hit my passenger side fuel tank, on a single axle sterling tractor.

    Mike2633 Thanks this.

I will say the good thing about tractors being diesel is that diesel doesn't ignite with fire. If that ever happens just get out and run. His car will explode but not yours.

The masonry companies use those to stack multiple cinder blocks at onces. I've even seen like 10 fork setups

    You’ve never seen that before?

Definitely for moving masonry, such as cubes of brick or block.

Yeah.... no. At 7:38 city dispatch called and asked if I can still come in early. Sure no problem bud.... There goes my plan to play video games  punched in at 8:45 and they send me with a penske straight truck again. This time in the middle of no where and each stop was at least 25 miles away from each other. What a pain in the butt... all residential with no room to turn around facepalm.gif I'd rather work on the dock all day instead of doing the same crappy run again.

Then I worked on the dock for couple hours to hit my 12 hours and new driver that got hired in August is already leaving. He's not happy about not driving as much as me and other guys above him. Apprently there is a new Ups terminal being build in Nj and that's where hes going. Oh well
