What was your truck number? I will see if it is at the DC.

Mines on the LOW end of mileage in our fleet. And most of them (Benz motors) are in straight trucks. With multiple over 1.1 million miles.
Note, this does not include the 3 newer tractors and 5 new straight trucks that we just bought this summer. They all have DEF tanks and Cummins motors.
But Mine also only gets driven an average of 250 Miles a day. Its not a linehaul/P&D swap truck anymore.

MACK E-6 and Mike2633 Thank this.

I like that dd15 and that Cummins they throw in the newer kenworths. They both provided me well as a company man. I will say that Cummins in the newer kenworth can smoke some cars when bobtailing.

    Right now I'm in a dd13

The DD13 is what our newer tractors have. I'm not sure about the engines in the straight trucks. But I'm remiss in forgetting about the bosses newest toy. An '98 Freightliner Classic day cab with an M11.

    Mike2633 Thanks this.

Well gents... My gravy train just came to a screeching halt.

My cake job just informed me that my $42k/year base pay will from now on also be my ceiling. This "salary" comes up to 40 hours of regular pay and 3 hours of OT each week regardless of how many hours worked.

Their hope is that I will eventually have short weeks and that those weeks will make up for my long weeks. I told my boss that since I started, I had maybe 4 weeks where I logged 43 hours or less. The past 7 weeks were 50-60 hours a week.

I can't justify to my wife to go into work on a Friday with 45 hours already logged, and take on another 10-14 hour shift without being compensated for work done after 43 hours. It's insane.

My boss said "Hate to lose you R/R, but corporate got this one wrong. If I was you, I would turn this down and walk".

It's upsetting. Not the whole looking for a new job part. But I went from a really hateful and hostile work environment to a job where my boss was cool. He was always fair and friendly to me and always had my back .

Had to get this off my chest.

How did you get off this week? I have to work everyday. I asked our local volume guy to look for it as well.
