Filters are dirt cheap at the yard.
Not sure what the big deal is about JCT doing truck PM. It's cheaper than :/ the road.

APU PM.....buy at the shop, go to Speedco and get the PM for $34.99.

Never buy cab air filters anywhere except the yard. You'll pay $30 and up. Freightliner cab air filter at the shop is less than $5.

Got to the yard yesterday to get a windshield replaced. It cracked when I was park at home for Thanksgiving.

Got there and was told they had a fix for this ###### Omnitracs IVG. Now I can wake up the system without having to start the truck. The other fix was when you kill the engine, it doesn't throw you to line 4 (unless your previous status was driving). My edits should drop now. I've had more edits in this new truck than the previous 5 years on E-logs.

I can see myself zooming down the grapevine in that thing, legs kicking in the wind behind me and hands holding on for dear life. I'd pull up to the scale on one of those things and just stare at the cop through the glass.

I hate those glitches too. I can remember that stupid thing throwing me into log violation once after shutting off the engine. The engine of course being something I had to turn on in the first place to wake it up. I came from a company that had the edit function disabled on the Qualcomm. This glitch would be a nightmare if we couldn't edit.

Edit feature turned off? If I'm not mistaken, that's a no no. Drivers are supposed to have the ability to edit their logs except drive time.

The fix is around a 30 minute thing for the omnitracs.

Are you not able to complete silence the QC? Or does it say HOME MESSAGING super loud every time you touch it?

In other news, climbing the hill intoMoriarty NM my truck up and died. Will not restart or even turn over. Waiting for a tow now.
