Yeah I use confort monitor generally when I sleep. I turn it off other times especially if I'm cooking.

And I'm sure it's the installation issues. I keep finding things...Like my evaporator on the back of the cab...its loose...Two bolts on one side are free spinning can't tighten to the back wall of the rig. I may epoxy the ####### to the truck.

@scottied67 you weren't on I-40 near that big pile up were you? It was on my local news this morning. More than one JCT trucks tangled up. New Mexico.

This weather is crazy. Went to bed in Monroe, La needing a little A/C to stay comfortable and woke up needing a lot heat to warm back up.

So glad I'm heading home within a week.

    Kamkor Thanks this.

I was stuck behind all of it on I-40 westbound. I pulled over tothe shoulder to complete the 2 hour portion of my split break. I got a knock on my door, the sheriff told me to turn around and go back to Tucumcari, he said there were 3 different wrecks and 2 of them involved fatalities. Prayers for those families who have lost their loved ones right before Christmas.

I sent a message in explaining what was going on and got a curt message back "We are aware of it" like I was bothering them. Now that I know some JCT trucks were involved i see why they were annoyed.

@scottied67, did you manage to find a place to park? Also, JCT trucks don't have a differential lock. That switch is the inter-axle lock. It works similar to a differential only between the axles. When you engage the inter-axle lock, it's syncs the axles together so each axle gets 50% of the power from the motor. Each axle still has the differentials, but those will still work normally as they are not locked.
