My pickup in Batesville AR was anytime before 1500 Thursday. Got there 1445 and the lady says we are closing in one hour, if you want to get loaded pay $300. Sent message and JCT says come back tomorrow. Request detention pay, haven't heard yay or nay yet on that.

Just was thinking if they had paid the $300 I wouldn't have lost half a day to get loaded and a whole day stuck on I-40 when it shut down.

You know I've had a couple of those where I almost got screwed. Like when I picked up onions in yerington. Appointment for 1600 but they stopped loading at 1400. Luckily they were sympathetic.

It's like come on planners....You should know this

Yep Yerington did that to me too. I stretched my qualcomm out the door and showed him the pickup time and he loaded me since I was there an hour early according to the plan.

I've haven't had that happen in Yerington. It shows a window of 0800-1600 on the plans I've gotten. I show up no later than 1200.

True but the month before the production cut was announced actual output was up 1.9 million barrels vs previous month. It's just a press release no real cut. Kind of like selling a product for $1 then raising its price to $2 then putting it on 50% off sale. Still the same price

I wasn't aware of that. Hell, I don't know why they would want to increase production to lower the price of oil. You would think they would be doing everything they can to keep the price per barrel as high as possible to profit even more.

It's like anything else in life. All parties agree something need to be done. Just don't expect me to do it someone else needs to do it.

Headed to Publix in Deerfield Beach...any parking nearby? Best I can come up with is truck stops many miles north, and don't think I'll have the hours to go that far up 95.
