Yeah I got my overhead at 50k too.

The DT12 is night and day from the SmartShift AMT before. Just don't be alarmed when the Jake's have the rpms way up near 2200. That's normal, the dd15 is rated for 2200 for Jake braking. And for the love of God don't forget they are on when bobtailing...You'll hit the windshield.

It's always been 50k for the auto since we started getting them in 2014.

We do not follow the Freightliner manual for services. What we do follow is a schedule that Freightliner gives JCT for when to do what service. That keeps our warranty intact. Some items are more frequent, others not. That's why it's extremely important to follow that schedule you got when you got the truck....any truck.

My only real complaint about the DT12 is when you come to a slowdown or like come to a red light turning green, it likes to hang at like 6th or 7th way too long then you have to wait for it to drop gears. Or after a slow down, wheels are rolling maybe 3mph or 5...It will still drop to 1st and skip shift to 4th. Instead of just sitting at 3rd. Makes me ask my truck what was the point of that....

I think if the wheels are moving..1st is never needed.

If I remember, with the Smartshift you couldn't get Econ with the Jakes on. Sounds like they fixed that in the DT12?
