They're supposed to be going solo. They weren't happy with the miles as a team.

Yes. The guard will direct you to their other facility down the road. You can get there and back without starting your clock

Nope, it still will not start. Tried the push and hold thing, just cranks and cranks like it is not getting fuel.

So what you need is 3 parts iron oxide 2 parts aluminum powder. Mix your 3:2 with 2 parts plaster of paris. Let harden on top of the APU and ignite with magnesium. Allow the APU to liquify and run out of the housing case...That is if the thermite doesn't go all the way through itself....

Ok so I finalized my books for the last year. It was my first FULL year at JCT.

So apparently I drove 141,595 paid miles this year, based on my linehaul pay. Now if you add the estimated 10% on the top because its not practical mile..its closer to 156,000 miles. And those numbers are good, because I put on 95K miles from May to Dec 31 on this truck.

My profit jumped significantly when I went from 2014 to 2017 Cascadias. 34.5 cents/mile profit to 43 cents across 2 quarters. Of course some of that is due to the fuel surcharge slowly creeping up but it wasent that high of an increase. and fuel prices move generally in lock step anyways.

This year will be a focus on increasing profit while trying to slow down the miles a little. Even though my goal is to pay off the truck as fast as possible. I still want to live a little. Per diem tracker shows I was on the road 352 days this year. Thats a bit much.

So here's to a happy, safe, and more profitable 2017.

I have to say, I admire someone who only takes 13 full days off in a calendar year. That shows determination and dedication...admirable traits I completely lack...lol.

I've taken 13 days off (and more) in the past 45 days. I fall firmly in the Steel Tiger school of thinking. I'll earn my smaller paychecks at the expense of having a life. I'm a slacker. I admit it.
