For the past few days, my seat belt light on the dash wouldn't turn off when I buckled the belt. I wasn't worried about it and just figured I would eventually get it fixed as I found it annoying having that light stay on no matter what.

Today, I happen to notice the wires coming from the latch had broken at the connector. So, me being me and wanting to save $$$$$$ from Freightliner trouble shooting and over charging to connect two wires, I did it myself. And, now the light goes off when I buckle the seat belt.

Every Cascadia I ever drove had seat belt problems. Even the 2017 I have now.

This is the first issue I've had with the truck. At least it was something minor and was able to fix myself. I have the old school QC and the cable for that runs right across that seat belt wire. 3 years of that took its toll on it.

Actually you would have a seat belt problem if you got pulled over for not wearing it.

    Kamkor and crxdc Thank this.

I unplugged mine. I'll plug it back in when I turn the truck in.
