How the heck do you stand being without an apu? I'd go crazy without my computer and my computer won't run without my apu running. I have a gaming laptop and those inverters that plug in the the cig lighter will not run my laptop. So, when my apu goes down, I'm SOL. As a result of this, I consider my apu going down an immediate emergency and I'll literally treat it like my truck breaking down. Route me to the nearest apu shop, I don't budge until it's fixed. With all of the sitting we do as reefer drivers, my computer is the only thing that keeps me sane.

@MachoCyclone when idling, do you also bump up the rpms to about 900? For those who don't know this will help keep your exhaust gas temps higher so the system knows to do a parked regen when necessary. Also good for the cylinders.
What's frustrating is even if we could change out the 7th injector ourselves, we'd still need the $1000+ software to let the computer know it has been changed or cleaned and clear codes etc.MachoCyclone and tallinthesaddle4life Thank this. -
Man I run a tv and a directv box as well as a sound bar and my laptop on one of those plug in inverter. What ki nd of laptop do you have that it uses more then 150 watts.
MachoCyclone Thanks this. -

Does the bunk air work well in your truck? In my truck it really sucks. A lot of time when it gets extra hot out I have to run both my apu and my truck because the bunk air the truck provides seems to be blocked by something but the two things working together will freeze me out after a time. The bunk ac by itself might as well not be on. -
kanidana Thanks this.
