My GPS was showing 0 of 15 satellites the other day in California for a few hours, I wonder if that jamming thing was going on then.

I don't think most newer cell phones will have issues though because they use glonass as as well as GPS unless the GPS jamming is blocking glonass as well.

1099 and Settlement Breakdowns are in. Time to play limbo with my taxable income...how low can you go....get under that limbo stick but stay out of the audit zone.

I remember watching my dad (CPA) doing his taxes for his business back in the day. Sitting there with TurboTax open all day long, he'd just stare at it as if he was willing the "Audit Risk Meter" to drop from red. Never E-filed, paper copies, always on the 15th of April. He's always said "Hell, I owe well over 10K, why pay it early...."

Meanwhile my happy go lucky ### was punching in my W2 from Popeyes and watching the numbers go up like I hit a jackpot. WHOO HOO 500 bucks!!!

Now I send him my returns to check out before I file, and he's all "HAHAHAHAHHAHA WELCOME TO MY WORLD!!!!!"

He retired to a small cattle farm and actually got his first refund in his adult life a couple years ago...13 bucks. They ate good at the Dairy Queen that day.

Well, it's a good thing my route to Spokane from Ontario, CA is simple. Don't need the GPS to get there. It's nice to have, but not necessary.

GPS as a whole wont be down. To do so would really screw up maritime mobile, aviation and first responders. Specific sattelites will be down thus making it more difficult to get a perfect lock on a maximum number of satellites at all times.

    A sad day at JCT.

For those of you that aren't aware, Ms. Linda passed away. (She was the white haired lady that processe ask the invoices for the drivers at the shop)

    May she rest in peace.
