    That is all true.

I feel the fuel economy pain for the load I dropped here. It's 45000lbs going to Washington. And yes, it scaled out legally with 100 gallons of fuel in my tanks and at 41ft.

Thank god I'm going to Tracy CA, I'm sure I would see that on my QC.

Speaking of QC, are you or anyone else having an issue where the QC doesent go out of "Driving Mode" when you stop? Its starting to occur more and more often, and today, it wouldent let me change duty status out of driving until I hit the battery cut off switch to kill power to the truck and reboot it. It was just ticking away my drive clock.

I have the unit between the old unit and the new units with the home button on the front. It got some kind of software update a couple months ago and now its a piece of ####.

He picked it up at Tyson and I know for a fact they ask you if you want to put load locks on it or not he chose NOT!

Ok. If you feel that strongly about it, then complain to HQ or you can vent your frustration (in a nice way) on the Facebook page JCT Drivers United that I moderate.

There's one Tyson plant which will not allow the driver to break the yard seal to put in load locks.

On the list of things I've had to worry about here at JCT in the 3.5 years I've been here, load locks are at the very bottom. I've only had to buy 2 of them one time.

Last day at JCT, turning in my truck today, and I won't miss trailer washouts or reefer fuel, that's for sure. In dry van, occasionally you may have to sweep a trailer out at a shipper, but I'd rather do that than spend 2 hours in a line at the Blue Beacon for zero pay while my hours tick away. I know it's part of what we agree to doing as JCT drivers, but it's still annoying. I was always thankful for the few washout places that have dedicated trailer washout lanes, like Danny's in Phoenix or the Beacon in Dallas and a few other places. My worse washout experience was a single lane place in Nebraska where every truck ahead me was getting waxes and wheel polishes. SUCKED!!!!

Later and may update with the good, bad, and ugly at my new place. Thanks for all the advice and the responses to my complaints and grievances from my fellow JCT drivers over the years.

That's why it'll continue....these problems are self inflicted and the co's continue to allow it..

MachoCyclone, Kamkor and CannonballAA Thank this.
