That's how it was explained to me but I could be wrong. He did have a driver that got on the program and was complaining that he was making less miles and money then he was if he wasn't.
I have a feeling it was for incentivizing drivers that wanted to quit if you stick around then we'll put you on this program. Make them feel like they're better than the average driver.

A quick check of wikipedia says Michelin purchased BFG in 1990. Knowing wiki is an unreliable source of information, I then went to the BFG website and via chat, I asked if BFG was owned by Michelin. The customer service rep responded quickly and simply, "Yes".
Jarhed1964 Thanks this. -
Just because 2 companies fall under the umbrella of a single conglomerate , doesn't mean that they their products are made by that conglomerate.
Michelin owns BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Tigar, Riken, and a few others. Does that mean that all those tires are made by Michelin?
Pepsico owns Lay's, Aquafina, Pepsi, Quaker, and a dozen more. Does that mean that all those products are made by Pepsico? -
That's not grrrrrrrrreat.
.... I'll see myself out.dhkwanderer and Jarhed1964 Thank this.
