    No..this lawsuit is pertaining to drivers cant leave the co with the truck therefore it makes them employees..federal judge said that whem he ordered swift to trial.

    I think the biggest thing they were facing was Interstate Leasing (Swifts leasing arm) did not allow you to take the truck somewhere else even with a payment agreement. They made leasing through them dependent on being with Swift, you leave Swift, or Swift fires you, you lose the truck as well. Basically they were employees.

    Yes...and everyone of these other co's including jct will be affected by this lawsuit..

    True, but in our contract it says we can move the truck somewhere else as long as payments are set up and accepted...don't know if anyone has actually TRIED but....

    I guess all we can hope is that they get enough blow back from tenured drivers that they abandon the cameras. they complain that they have a hard time getting drivers and then they do stuff like this that makes drivers not want to be here...
