Welp, I'll email the recruiter and tell her to cancel my application. Invasion of my privacy is a 100% deal-breaker.

 

A driver approached me at the fuel islands to talk about driving for JCT. We talked about some things and I mentioned they are putting driver facing cameras in the new drivers' who come out of orientation's trucks. He was like "no sale".

 

It's not negotiable for me. There are no arguments or pay incentives you could give me that would make me work with a driver-facing camera. The company needs me more than I need them, and there are many many companies to choose from. They can perv on someone else.

 

But a 2nd generation 20 something year veteran of the Australian Outback said he'd be lost without it.....
