Thursday morning,: you good for otd Sunday?

Yep...(two macro one messages sent plus two freeform produce check call messages all saying good for otd as well)

Friday: AM macro 1 and check call sent... Then..."you good for otd Sunday?"

Yep...

Pm macro 1 and check call sent...

Today: AM macro one and check call sent....

"Hey are you good for OTD on this load Sunday please advise..."

For those keeping track at home that's 11 messages I've sent since Thursday saying I'm good for otd..... tell me again what's the point of the macro one and the produce check calls... If they're not going to pay attention to the otd section of the messages then it should just be a #### temperature check...

 

You obviously haven't been here too long and they need to keep a extra eye on you.
This will happen with the new guys.. lol

 

That's why I stopped sending in the macros over a year ago. I only communicate with them if there is a problem.

 

That's been going on for years. When I questioned the micro managing aspect of it, the reply was that it came from upper management that the DMs were to check on all their trucks individually in addition to the macros.
I simply didn't respond to them and told Brian that if JCT doubted my ability to uphold my contract, then to terminate it. I'll be dammed if I'm going to be baby sat.

Sure don't miss that BS.

 

So do they give you reefer drivers special training? Just curious.


Because no matter where I park, like I could park in Antarctica, reefers are going to park on both sides of me. One will be going on and off, and the other will be on constant and just screaming to keep everything at 26°.

For the first time since my BlackBerry and before iPhones came out. I now own a none iPhone phone. Got a lot to learn..lol
Apple is no longer the great experience without a audio jack and fingerprint scanner.

 

I will agree, I do sometimes miss the headphone jack in my Pixel 2 when I just wanna listen to something real quick, not on the speakers. And I cant justify getting usb headphones for something I use occasionally.

But I cant just be walking around with my dongle all the time...people talk...
