Its honestly the Knight thing got them a little spooked, combined with "who are you do you belong here" with them having a new class all the time. And at night all bets were off.

Picked up trl# 7169 out of JBS in Tolleson. Both axel seals blown on right side of trailer. Oil is everywhere like it's been ran like that for a long time. I'm at a TA in Holbrook waiting for repairs.

I normally don't like to get other driver's in trouble, but enough is enough. That trailer clearly had problems and was dropped anyway. Instead of heading to AR to make this delivery and then go on hometime I'm here waiting in line.

Nails.....can't really complain about those. You can pick up a nail 50 get after getting out of a shop.....I did. FML

It's the blatant repairs that get me. How hard is it to simply walk around and LOOK! You can catch so many obvious things without having to crawl on the ground. What gets me is an outside driver side tire that is bald.....How can you not see that? You go right by it when you open and close your doors.

I mean we're talking about literally 60 seconds to "stroll"and glance.

What drivers don't realize is that not only is it a D.O.T issue that can get us nailed, but more importantly, IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE. I don't want my friends or family around a truck that has a safety issue....It could cost them their lives!

The drive early this morning was interesting. Got to the construction zone on 40 east bound just before crossing into New Mexico. Speed limit drops to 45 and left lane is closed. Another one of our truck tail gates me through the right lane. It goes back to two lanes but the 45mph still applies. Even a speed limit sign stating as such. Our truck behind me speeds up and passes while I'm holding 45. He waves at me as he passes. I point in front of him where there is smokey bear flagging him down. Bam!!! Got him for speeding.

So, I keep going while thinking you dummy. After crossing into New Mexico, the same guy passes me again just before another construction zone where the speed limit is 55. Everyone else and me have slowed already. The guy flies through the half mile long zone and guess what. Busted again. That time I laughed my ### off as I passed by.

    Guess some people don't learn.

Ok so little update. Right before i was to come back to jct in late may early june my wife got promoted and transfered. I stayed to move and to at least try to find a local job near our new home. Now to no avail and with my attitude souring and falling behind on bills my wife gave in on me going back otr. So as soon as we can find a daycare or babysitter that would work with my wife's schedule i should be commong back to jct.

Of course the 10 macros a day about warning speeds in New Mexico don't hurt our cause there. lol

Crossed NM couple times back and forth and got those canned message warning that NM is cracking down hard on speeders.

I had a run from Tulare CA to Pauls Valley Ok, Fort Worth TX then Dallas TX final. Kept speed about 60 all the way, made on time to all 3 stops even with the tire problems-- patched tire then next shift it was destroyed with chunks of missing tread.
