Scroll down to the Inspection History tab and you can click on the report number to see what the driver got written up for. It doesn't show truck numbers but it does show tag numbers.Steel Tiger and Kamkor Thank this. -
The driver has only a little bit of time leeway to report the tickets back to JCT, I think 24 hours. He hasn't been convicted yet, but he's gonna have a very hard time beating these tickets. If one of the tickets was in New Mexico, there is a little bitty box onthe ticket with super small writing and the officer will strongly encourage you to put an X in the box-- do not do it. Put the X in there is admitting guilt on the spot and no way to fight the ticket.
It's really too bad because figure however long the guy has been at JCT, he's invested over $20,000 grand per 100,000 miles toward his truck, will have to turn it in unless he can pay the balance off. Plus which company will touch a guy with 2 tickets so fresh on the record. These poor choices have set this driver back easily a quarter million in life earnings. -

When i left jct back in January part of the process out is to sit down with mr mallory and go over your file and why your leaving (that went fine as at the time i was leaving on good terms for a local job). Anyway as i was in mr mallorys office for the meeting he was on the phone with a driver who was reported by another jct as going way over 70 on the flats (gravity no excuse). The driver denied it but john was looking at his speed at that moment witch was an avg of 85 for the day. Talking with him after the phone call he said the only reason he hasnt said anything to him on the call about termination is when he got back to the yard they will grill him on where he was able to get the limiter removed.

I knew my buddy's tag number and one particular day I was reading the violations and noticed his tag number. I asked him about the ticket he received on the day in question. His response? "HOW IN THE &$%^ DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT??" He was not very computer savvy but I talked him through, step-by-step how he could see the same thing. From that point on, he went to read about the violations also.
As you said, some of the tickets drivers get is simply beyond my thought process.
I mentioned this in another thread recently: we don't need any outside enemies. As an industry, we are our own worst enemy. Some of those violations prove it.drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
