I have 5 years experience, but haven't driven since 2018 and haven't had a CDL since 2019. One of those years was with Shaffer, April 2014 to April 2015. Just trying to figure out if I should go through a school or a company sponsored training to knock the rust off.

I would say they probably would work with you being you have that prior experience and such a fmr driver for them.

I work for Tyson Foods not crete or schaeffer. I follow ssb posts and know several on here use microwaves and air fryers in the truck which is why I asked that question here

Got the delivery made by 2100. When I contacted 2nd shift about not making the 1700 window, they actually responded. They said I had until midnight...not sure why it was entered as a 1700 deadline. The Wally in Gordonsville was packed, and I got the last empty (there were a couple in doors getting unloaded). Got over to Mt. Comfort and picked up my IN load and got shut down just before midnite. There is a new Sheetz at exit 240 (I-81) that has recently opened. About half of the parking spots were empty at midnight, which is proof that nobody knows about it yet, so don't tell anybody, it'll be our secret. Now I have unitl 10 tomorrow morning to get to the DG in Westville, IN. When I looked at the delivery location the other day, I was thinking it was closer to the Ohio line than it is, it is actually near Valparaiso, so it's in the central time zone, so that gives me an extra hour.

I am not sure about a combo unit, I have separate units, but we only have 1200w inverters, so my air fryer won't work in the truck(my air fryer needs 1500w). I use it when I am taking a break at a terminal and have access to regular 120v power.

put simply, they're trying to come up with a solution to a problem that never existed in the first place

Only issue with Sheetz is that they don’t have showers. I have been told that the food is good though.

So many of the Walmart loads they send pp with like 0001-0600 but we actually have all day. Supposedly to increase productivity, driver thinks it has to be there by 0600 so pushes. May be because so many cant deliver on time.

    Knucklehead and cdavis188 Thank this.

I didn't notice until this morning that they have "no overnight parking" signs up, but they're at the back of the parking spots, I think people were parked in front of them last night. They have a few light poles towards the front of some of the parking spots (where they put safety poles around them and trash cans.) You would think that if they were serious about no overnight parking, they would put the signs on those.
