    I used to use a bungee cord….
Everything would come tumbling out on a sharp right turn…

I don't always dress the best but I always have shoes on and when required my safety vest

I see a lot of flip flops around flatbeds and stepdecks. A lot of them hauling heavy equipment. Makes me wonder what they wear if they deliver to a job site

    Eeeeew, Yuck.

Most job site I have been on require hardhat and safety shoes. And if the driver has ever had a chain binder or a chain fall on their foot, they wouldn't be wearing flip-flops anywhere near their trailer when securing or unsecuring a machine.

Not sure if it's a coincidence or not, but after my latest message from the death monitor system last Friday and my discussion with my dispatcher about how useless it is, I haven't gotten any messages since, and Saturday night and last night were both well over 14 hours waiting to head to my customers, so maybe they can turn it off and on (like when we go home for hometime).

It’s amazing after sitting in the dock for 3+ hours when I tell them I’m running out of hours that if they don’t have me loaded here in two hours and keep Freight on your dock, I’m leaving and that’s exactly what I told dispatch and dispatch told me to do what I need to do… now they’re rapidly loading me..

I very seldom get those messages at all anymore. I think once every couple months if I’m lucky
