Does it mean your leaving temp controlled and back to dry vans again?

Maybe I've been traded...I posted on here that if the new guy and Ops didn't get their poop together, I would try to get transferred, but they at least got me to 2500 miles, so it wasn't me deciding to move...too bad it wasn't an email from Brakebush getting set up for orientation.

They’re just giving you an additional log book and another 70 to run. You’ll be running team miles now.

Maybe they found out about these other voices in my head and they're gonna take advantage of them...I wonder if that counts as recruiting another driver and I'll get a recruiting bonus for my alternate personality :)

I asked the new guy about it...told him I thought maybe Shaffer's Ops got sick of my grumping and demoted me to the minor league for retraining (along with a smiley : ) so he knew I was joking). He hasn't responded

Regular Batteries generally last 4 years. It's 8 years for an AGM battery. You can go on the AutoZone website and it will tell you what kind of battery you need. If you have an Interstate Battery Store near you they will test it. You want to use a carbon-pile load tester. Those electronic ones aren't always accurate.

BTW heat is what kills batteries. It usually shows up during the winter when more amperage is required to start the cold engine.

From what I heard last night when I was at the yard in West Memphis is that they’re switching the operations on both Crete and Shaffer to where the asset managers will have a designated after hours crew that will only be assigned to your asset manager’s Fleet and each asset manager will have a designated load planner so the same load planner will be planning you no matter what area of the country you’re in..

That's gonna be a five finger fuster cluck. So now, all the planners are gonna be fighting over freight to keep their drivers moving. How many planners do we have? That means if there are 12 planners, each planner is gonna have to keep up with 100 or so drivers. What genius though this up, let me guess, Ostergard Jr. This falls under the category of "if it ain't broke, fix it anyway". I hope Brakebush has an opening really soon, this new system is gonna be a nightmare.

I've personally never had a car battery last longer than 6 or 7 years
