Me too, ours mentioned something about possible loopholes found in all the legalese speak that would include people who work outdoors and/or away from others such is OTR truck drivers. Then went on to the normal “it’s still early and we’ll keep you updated”.,…

This isn’t going to happen. Just a bunch of feel good BS.

I don't care for Biden at all ... but Trump has a part in this mess also...with giving vaccine makers immunity from side effects of shot...to quote Trump...I had this shot developed at Warp Speed , without the normal years of testing for side effects..Trump started all this , with Biden willingly continuing it

That's what a lot of people said about the ELD mandate, but look at us now

Well, my 3 week vacation is just about over. After my wife's Tuesday physical therapy appointment I will be available for dispatch.

She is moving around mostly with a cane, and will occasionally walk a short number of steps unassisted. Both her physical therapist and her doctor say she is way beyond expectations. Her range of motion is almost at the target they set for someone nearing the end of a 6-8 week PT treatment and she is able to do more of the various exercises they plan for someone only nearing the third week after surgery.

I also am amazed at how well the insurance has covered this whole deal. We got the claim statement BCBS sends out after they pay. In total, the pre-op, surgery and physical therapy costs were just over $10k (not counting the hospital charges)...so far, the highest cost that the patient is responsible for is a $400 co-pay for the surgery itself. Then a small number of charges under $100. All-in-all, I am totally shocked at how little out of pocket expense we've had to deal with. Makes me glad I listened to her and stayed put with this company.

Why do problems seem to happen on weekends when solutions are limited?

Apples to oranges, but yea a lot of people did say that. Truck drivers are a group of people that the general public needs little convincing that they need to be (more) governed and restricted. This Covid mandate messes with Joe Public’s daily life. Won’t be easy to implement.

SOMEBODY wanted some freight moved...lol! 556 mile d/h from Atlanta area to Little Rock. Then onto Ohio!. Had to stop in Marietta to get the bunk heater fixed. Shop "fixed" it. It worked fine when I left the terminal. Was 95 degrees in the cab...lol. make my delivery, start heading to LR. Parked at Temple GA, turned the bunk heater on and got the red light. "Check fuel pump" and "no flame detected" errors. Been dealing with this since September. Tired of waking up cold...lol
