LOL. After you get beat in the head with the corporate sledgehammer for 5 years post Duane Acklies passing, you finally begin not giving a ####... LOL

Seriously, I came in under Duanes ownership of the company. "Creffer" was an entirely different company late 90's, early 2000's. The DOT was different, the rules were different. Corporate "streamlining" and uber efficiency weren't as rampant as it is today.

I came in and actually ENJOYED working here because I wasn't a corporate drone or faceless number (pre "creffer" mashup). The attitude of respect and patience I developed in my early days at this company (and my previous employer) has stayed with me and has served me well. I find that exhibiting patience and understanding get you a lot further with the older asset managers in this company.

Act like the company OWES YOU and you'll get a bad attitude in return.

Exhibit patience and understanding and the company will work with you and treat you with much more respect.

Now with that last statement, understand that with Mr Acklies passing, the qualifications and "character" requirements to be an asset manager here have fallen quite dramatically. The majority of our A/M's are good people but there are more bad eggs getting through the system now, especially with Covid.

I'll be completely honest here.. it will come off rude but is not intended to be.. Combine your attitude of SHAFFER OWES ME with the Bad Egg levels here and it's no wonder you have a bad time.

To last here, IMO, it's all about mindset. Understand your place here as an employee. If you keep acting like you think your the boss, they'll drive you like a nail into the ground, use your ### up and toss you out like like yesterday's garbage and not think twice about it.

If you really wanna be the boss. Buy A Truck. Get your own authority. Get your own broker or have your wife train to be a broker and build your business YOUR way. THEN you can batch about the boss all you want... just make sure you looking in the mirror when you do it so you ensure he gets the message...lol
