Traffic was an absolute nightmare coming thru Chattanooga today...from both directions (more than normal). I hit dead stopped traffic at the Ga/Tn line on 75 going north then west 24...all the way to just before the ridge cut downgrade...I guess a 4 wheeler felt that he was entitled to the lane occupied by a truck...and then got drug down the road for a 100 yds before the truck got stopped. Coming east into the city on 24 there was some sort of big wreck just past the I-24/US-27 split there at that factory they're tearing down. Traffic was backed up all the way past the I-59/24 merge.

No way, no how would I do all that moving trying to find a truck that will run. Rental car or plane ticket, even on my own dime, and I'll call after the 1st to check if mine is ready. To be treated like that is unprofessional in my mind.

Did you happen to catch Tonn's holiday message that just came out this week? I think he and Sleepy Joe O'Biden have the same script writer...I don't think he could be any less sincere if he tried...I made it about 5 minutes in and turned it off.

Coming through Chattanooga is always a cluster. I made it relatively unscathed through Nashville and a 30 min backup in Knoxville. Southbound 81 in TN had a dead stopped backup for probably 10 miles. Thought I’d check out the raphine petro tonight. This is going to be a good hike for a shower..

I’ve got far bigger issues than any supposed karma. Any potential truck problems I *may* face are out of my control.

I decided to get a 34 in at this TA before running my load. Can still make deadline but would have to run a minimum of 600 miles a day to do it.

Also the load still counted as a pre-load as far as the warehouse was concerned. Dropped my empty and told that I can just connect to the trailer that was in the dock getting loaded.

Got there at 620am and was told it should be ready before 9am...we'll it wasn't ready till around 130pm.

Have a HUGE stack of bills that's over 30 pages long with po numbers. One of the msg's for this shipper says for cosco loads we have to scan every page. Thankfully this is just dropping at the shippers other facility in Kansas so won't have to scan all that.

Mine’s a Pete and the noise from the steering column cover vibration is becoming insufferable.

I stuffed a small towel inside of mine. Inserted through the bottom. Yes that cover rattle will drive you batty.

My F150 did the same thing. I took the cover off and put a small piece of dishwasher sponge inside and put it back together, no more rattle.

That sounds worth a try. Might even be better than my idea of putting a big hose clamp around it.
