actually stopped at the Baldwin peelot for the night. Definitely going to be cranking up this bunk heater pretty good.
Definitely don’t want a remake of last year, that was awful. Maybe they’ll be ready with some salt this year. I was bobtailing around Dallas last month and it was in the low 30s, TC came on while on a bridge and it was just a spotty mist going on. Gets dicey quick in areas that don’t prepare.
Snackbar is chillin'....at Shaffer

Super small load. Have a 220 mile run pickup a (live) or drop from the drop yard, in Stockton, going to Nestlé for a live unload in Bakerfield. Times for pu and del are already past due so wonder when they will want me to do this.
Says deliver to Nestlé but address is to a ice cream warehouse under a different name. -
And they're predicting some major winds thru Wyoming from tonite into Tuesday morning. East side of Sherman had signs predicting 90+ mph gusts. Signs from Laramie thru the west side of Elk said 70 mph gusts. I was fighting some wind today, one sign I saw said 40 mph gusts...or as folks from Wyoming say, a little breezy. But with only 6500 lbs in the fridge...made things interesting.Ralph4159, tallguy66 and newbietrucker91 Thank this. -
Nextoad is preloaded at a drop yard. However deliver window is going to be tight since it was made for tomorrow at 1030pm.
When I start tonight I have 300 miles to go to deliver currently at 6am. Drop yard is 20 Mike's away with next load a little over 250. However if Cosco takes 2 or more hours, no way to do even a 7/3 split and make next load.
Always stressed out on the really short hauls I've gotten due to the tight delivery window they always put on them. Plus if no load pu right after I'll be forced to find/make parking somewhere in bakerfield in the middle of the night.
On the plus side actual had to turn my ac on to sleep and won't be dealing with the East snowmegeddon that's going on.dwells40 Thanks this. -
