As long as I get loaded, the load is mine to deliver unless the truck breaks down. Combined with the load I just delivered, that gonna put me over 3200 for the week. And since I don't do Walmart dedicated fill in duty, I will most likely head back to either Lexington or Grand Island for my next load.

That’s why I like pulling tanks. A “down” week for me consists of sitting on my boat fishing. OTR is a miserable life.

SSB are yall not allowed to split a trip? F.E. pick up in dallas going to PA but only make it 300 miles before payroll cutoff. Have them release the 300 miles so it goes on that week and the rest on the next week.

Not that I know of. I worked for other companies that did that, but with this company, you either deliver it or t-call it enroute and someone else picks it up and get's it moving.

I have the same opinion about local/regional trucking, but, to each their own.

I agree about the local. I live in DFW. I can’t get out of that place quick enough on Monday mornings. If I lived 5 minutes from the yard I might be able to deal with local work. But a 30 minute commute in that concrete canyon twice a day would be horrid.

Fyi In case You’re not aware they will advance you up to half the load if the load rolls over the next pay period after delivery like say for a Saturday delivery… so in case this happens going forward You can ask them to do that for you

What was suppose to be a preload turned into a live load. Didn't take them long to load me and they have on site parking so doing my 10 here.

Only downside is the parking is in the back and the bathroom is located at the guard shack in the front so if I get the urge to go will either have to walk or disconnect and bobtail up to use it.
