Congress has bill going thru the process making that a federal felony to pull stunts like that

The local outfit i park my truck at has numerous Cascadias with 7-800k+ miles with no problems with the AMT. They bought two new 24’s and one of them needed transmission work at 80k

I posted a YouTube video about it, I doubt it will go anywhere, but we can only hope...it also contains a limit on these nuclear verdict amounts as well.

we have it, but I think I have used it once. The guy in orientation said they put those on because of drivers getting shoulder and back injuries...my first thought is, they're hiring some sickly drivers if they hurt themselves pulling a kingpin release. If they hurt themselves doing that, how do they keep from getting hurt winding the landing gear or climbing into and out of a trailer to put load locks on their load. Very sad that the driver pool has gotten that thin if that's the best drivers they can attract. I have probably pulled thousands of kingpins in my career and the worst thing I ever had happen was a greasy hand or a dirty jacket or shirt.

Jost fifth wheels can be ignorant to get undone if someone doesn’t know the trick. On mine for example you have to both pull, and lift to the left at the same time. Lately I’ve been trying to do more things with my left hand, but I cannot unlatch that fifth wheel left handed to save my ###.

The nannybox chose 1st, when it tried to shift to 2nd it went grrrrrunch into 2nd and then started lurching. 220K on my 579 and it’s doing that. It hesitates going into some gears, bangs going into other….

I shifted better myself when I was as green as grass than this computer controlled boat anchor does that’s supposed to be the greatest invention since beer.

Mine missed a gear this morning. Topping that middle grade between Wytheville and the top of Fancy Gap, it was in 11th, then vroom, rev, rev, 12th.
