Sounds like a “nice” Fred Meyer load…. I always had good luck at that one. Krackamas was always the bad one for me.

Plans have changed. After I got empty, my load to NC turned into a load to New Albany, MS. So, I decided to take the long way from Morris to Belvidere up I-39. Just before Rochelle, I started hearing that I-39 NB was closed due to a fatality crash. So I pulled into the Petro to top off the reefer and choose an alternate route. While I was there, someone from Arlington called and asked for help. Turns out a driver got caught up in some other major traffic and wasn't going to make a pick up from a customer that was only 25 miles from me. And it just so happens that this load was going to the customer I was picking up from (only a different warehouse). They asked if I would pick it up and take it to them. Sure, that means I get paid for the out of route miles plus some short haul money. So they voided me off the MS load and put me on the short load. I get loaded in short order and proceeded to deliver. Once empty, I asked about getting dispatched on my MS load again. Lincoln said it had been reassigned. So I called them. They said I was on a different MS load, but that had been pulled off me as well and they were setting me up to bobtail up by Milwaukee to meet another driver and take his load to FL. I am scheduled to be home on the 8th, and they were having a little trouble finding a FL bound load by then, then this load came up. So, instead of being home on the 8th, I'll get home on the 5th then leave back out 3 days early. So it all worked out

When I was at the Costco warehouse today, my truck decided it wanted illuminate to dash with 2 little amber engine lights...one says "check" and the other is just the engine shaped nightlight I've had before. The code it was throwing was for the ACM (after-treatment control module). After several restarts the "check" light went out, but the other engine MIL light remains. We shall see how many restarts it takes before that one goes out.

had the same problem and same code on my truck. Glitchy software is to blame apparently (that's a real shocker)

    Breakdown basically said ignore it

I blame buying different DEF from different companies. I have been trouble free with DEF issues in two different Freightliners for my last 150,000 miles once I started getting DEF from a single source.

Only have 30 pallets, so unless they use some sort of new ultra heavy pallets, that would account for around 1500 lbs. I have hauled over 44,000 lbs with this truck and not been over gross(with the same amout of personal gear)

I think they under estimated how much their product weighs because when I opened the doors to back in to unload, I was loaded right to the very back of the trailer with short, single stacked pallets of "Stoked" coffee creamer, so that's the right number of Chep pallets.

    motocross25 Thanks this.

Someone thought fl Oz and Oz are the same thing. Yeah, the difference is .02, but it adds up. They also aren't counting the weight of the cup itself, the box it's in, the case holding the boxes, or the shrink wrap, or the pallet. Easily over 150 lbs extra per pallet.

Bumper, Knucklehead and motocross25 Thank this.
