Go to local biker bar.
Pay several heavies to accompany you to the president of the local home owners association's residence.
Tell him you'll be parking there in future, and also need the truck detailed while you're off.
Suggestions where to park truck when home. My subdivision doesn't allow them

I don't live that close to any truck stops.. but, there are several places to park near my house.. I don't always park it at the same place.. depends on if I am Bobtail or pulling a trailer... The closest to my house is the grocery store where I buy groceries, I went in a spoke with the manager and got their okay, there is also a Bowling Alley with a big lot that will let me park there, there is also a storage place which is where I park if I am under a load as it is gated and locked.. I spoke with them and made arragements to be able to park there on an as needed basis.. only had to do it once and it was only $5 to park from Friday night to Monday morning...

But jungle all are good ideas. Behind a fence is best or you risk theft. Boat storage/RV, another trucking company, diesel shop....
If you are on the east side of Ktown at exit 398 is the Strawberry Plains Pilot. I'd trust that before all the west side truckstops at the 374 and 369.
Another decent truckstop is the Pilot on I-75 exit 117 is the Raccoon Valley Pilot. There is even an abandoned truck stop across the street from it you see trucks parked at.jungledrums Thanks this. -

Find a self storage facility. I paid 40 a month at the beach. They gave me 24 hour access (the folks storing things were locked out after 10 pm), gated and monitored with cameras. Small price to pay considering. I got permission to park at a Walmart, came back to find my truck and trailer missing, City had towed it and charged me over 700 to get it all back. Lesson learned, some cities have ordinances concerning trucks being parked.

Do you leave your car parked at these places while you are gone on the road?

look for Diesel repair shops, other trucking companies, Knight, Werner, Swift yards. Call the near by Utility or Great Dane trailer yards. I park mine at a Thermo King shop.

Find out where the local wreckers take impounded/written off trucks. The lots are almost always gated/fenced and you can probably talk your way in to a decent deal.
