That's why I like to have a map right there in front of me especially if I can't find a place to pull over or a nice reminder so I don't miss my exit.

I think that you're correct about both of those things. However I think they're absolutely ridiculous.

It's no doubt it's ridiculous lol. I was surprised when I heard about this in the state of Texas with it being a conservative state. I was mainly curious if a lot of drivers have come across this problem.

On the rare occasion I use mine I don't even mount it, just let it sit in the console. Otherwise it's tucked away up in the overhead cubby collecting dust.

I personally just don't like having any crap on the windshield or dash, with cords running all over the place. I like the clean look.

Texas requires vehicle registration stickers be placed in the lower left corner of the windshield only. By keeping it clear of anything else a Texas LEO can see at a glance whether a Texas plated vehicle is properly registered.

You'd still get a citation for distracted driving with your video camera you roll around with on your head.

Mudguppy and Kyle G. Thank this.

The law says handsfree not headfree.

Don't you think the DOT officer would have written me a citation for using a head camera if were illegal?
