we were all part of the scheme, a heavy haul driver brings in the equipment to bulldoze some mom an pop place, the flatbed driver brings in the materials for the new building, up goes the taco bell, cattle hauler takes the cattle to slaughter, reefer driver brings in the taco beef, out walks the obese trucker who ate too many tacos, everyone says we make our own choices but they dont spend billions on marketing so people can make the right choices, we all profited along the way, welcome to America, keep sipping on the red white and blue kool aid lol stay thirsty my friends
The decline of drivers and slobs .

Those are the kind of ####ers that I roll the video back, get their truck number and company name and call them in for openly masturbating in front of my wife and children.KB3MMX, diesel drinker, intrepidor and 3 others Thank this.

I knew a Reefer driver once, that laid over all the time in Los Angeles. He looked like a transient.Stunk, had the sandals and Family dollar sweat pants.Never shave, greay hair.Had to stand 7 or 8 feet away when you talked to him (and yell).Dont get a hit of that "breath".Anyway,Apparently this was a Defense mechanism.Looked like he didnt have 2 nickels to run together.Claimed he was never Bothered or hassled for money in Los Angeles.I tend to Believe him alsoKB3MMX, diesel drinker, dunchues and 2 others Thank this.

When we're making the big money we dont stop for nothing. When it get slow we stop 1 night clean up do laundry ect. Sometimes you gotta smell like crap to come out smelling like a rose later. We arent truck stop truckers we're in it strictly for cash.

Best not come over here then mate the average trucker usually wears shorts, singlet and flip flops its like some national pride thing over here, but then we've always been a little different down under huh? The exception being once a driver is at an industrial site they are required to wear high visibility shirts, and steel capped safety boots, something i noticed isn't required over there.Farmerbob1 and bzinger Thank this.

They went through the Billy Bubba school of Buffet Etiquette.LMAOLumper Humper, Farmerbob1 and Txdriver77 Thank this.

Oh, believe me, there are plenty of places here where those regs are in place and strictly enforced. Some P&D guys rag on me because I never wear shorts on the job(in Arizona, which is about 3.7m from the sun's core)...but I've never had to miss a delivery because I wasn't properly equipped.Sirscrapntruckalot and Farmerbob1 Thank this.

A lot of places here in the US do require safety equipment like boots, high visibility jackets, and hard hats. A couple distribution centers I have been in require hair nets and beard nets. I have even been in a couple that required paper overboots, and one place I can remember required me to spray the soles of my shoes with an industrial disinfectant before entering.KB3MMX Thanks this.
