Looking to start up and trying to gather a list of expected monthly operating expenses. I know there's something I'm not thinking of...
My setup would be leased on, under company authority, pulling their trailer with only bobtail insurance.
What things will I need to pay monthly?
Here's my list, so far:
Truck payment: $2k/ month
Truck insurance: $366-$529/month
Truck fuel: To be determined
IFTA: To be determined
ELogs: do these have a monthly subscription
Wife/girlfriend: Okay just kidding I'm single.
Needed that laugh.
CPA/Accountant: Am I paying this guy monthly or once a year and
How much/average?
That's all I can think of but I'm sure there's something I'm not considering.
Also is there a such thing as tire insurance? I know unexpected tire failure can be costly.
Thanks in advance!

Why so cheap?
These are variable costs, so you can estimate them by the average load and deah head mileage and where you travel.
If you like to play with receipts, just spreadsheet all of them. Find someone who will tell you what you need, you may not need to have quarterly payments, they will look at your entire revenue model and tell you what you need to do.CruzControhl2 Thanks this. -
Price a set of tires and divide by 150,000 miles -
Price an oil change and divide by 15,000 miles.
Price health insurance.
Truck washes.
