this is correct, as any owner of any business put in the time, money and sweat to even start a business. in fact, some owners/bosses do not even take a salary before the workers get thiers.

and like how many truckers (here on this site in fact) go out and buy new pick up trucks, bass boats, motorcycles, new homes, and whatever else, does the boss/owner tell them how they should spend the money they earned??

    i think not.

Well, yes and no. Ok, in this situation, clearly, the driver was wrong, but a Ferrari? Now, I, like you, drove a lot of junk, while the boss tools up in a new Caddy, ( 1/3 the cost of a Ferrari?)but if this guy drives a Ferrari, what do you think his home life is like. HE'S the guy buying bass boats, 6 figure classic cars, and such, while the drivers go to work in a used minivan. I grew tired of that, and It's ultimately why I went O/O, so I could buy a Ferrari too. Sadly, it didn't work out that way,,,

Meh,Ferrari nowadays is highly overrated. Can’t even get those with a manual transmission anymore. I’ll stick to the classics.
    (Daytona/Daytona Spyder anyone?)

do we know for sure, if the boss BOUGHT the car...or LEASED the car..??

    there IS a difference.

we cannot argue/debate how any boss/owner spends HIS money no more than they can tell US how to spend our money.

point of fact, i personally have KNOWN drivers to go out and buy BRAND NEW pick up trucks, topping the $70,000 price tag.....why...???

who NEEDS a $70,000 pick up truck..???

some people (both drivers and owners/bosses) live BEYOND thier means, and who the heck are WE to say how they spend thier monies..???

if a driver, pulls up in a beater mini van, hey, maybe he has that NEW $70,000 pick up truck in HIS driveway, and doesn't want it getting wrecked at the company yard?

This discussion reminds me of Rob Lowe, who owns Prime. He's spent millions in his quest to own a Kentucky Derby winner. A buddy of mine delivered some of the materials to his place used to build a new paddock, in fact.

And that's all well and good, I don't care how rich people spend their money, except for the part where I involuntarily contributed $5000 to his Kentucky Derby GoFundMe when I left the company. Not enough money to make me want to drive over whatever personal vehicle he drives, but enough to make me want to mention it in public every once in a while so others can be forewarned.

For me it only took 2 doors, Cummins, and a manual transmission. :D
