Truck stop showers are nicer than Swift terminals.

That's a no brainier...truck stop gets wiped down after every use, terminal showers get it once a day, maybe twice...

 

but it is also no guarantee, the truck stop washes/bleaches those towels....i had personally seen a truck stop employee, putting the wet towels into the drier....

and i have also personally seen an employee mopping out not only the shower stall, but the floor with black water from a very dirty wash bucket.

so you go ahead, and think truck stop showers are cleaner.

why do you think it's highly recommended that we wear shower slippers or flip flops into the shower..????

 

Go ahead. Laugh at me taking a couple more bites at a few turns here and there in my 120” sleeper - with a shower in it.

I drew the line in the sand a while back.

 

Truck stop showers are nicer but not every employee is very clean... a lot of them just throw the towels back in the dryer or they use the other guys ballzack towel to clean the mirrors....
Pilot is bad for that... I try to go to Loves or a TA if I can... I've seen hair in the sink, hair in the shower and cracks. Shower shoes are best and try to bring your own towel if you can..

 

Theres a couple terminals i went too that didnt even have a shower head only a pipe stickin out the wall lol i aint complainin about a free hot shower though

 

Have you guys ever wondered why tiles in the shower rooms at these truck stops are always dark colored? It hides the filth better. Same reason their towels are always brown or burgundy or whatever.

Just like you always see the same darker colors on hotel bedding. Just imagine if it was all white... it wouldn’t look so clean I promise.
