If you get pulled over by a state trooper for disobeying traffic control devices, for being in the wrong lane. And get ticketed but no inspection, does it go against your csa score?
Does it have to be DOT to get csa points?

Here are the points...of course, you have to do DOT math...the 1st year it multiplies x3, the 2nd year x2 and then the 3rd year face value...I think, never quite got the whole deal on exactly how they keep track.

What lane were you in?
The far left? -
Good luck driver...! -
Ohio Turnpike, Kid?
-
Indeed!

I was in the left lane as the sign said. I passed a slower truck on right without going over the speed limit. I was waved over a couple miles later by a state trooper. He said an airplane saw me move to the right lane to pass. I was given a ticket.
I'm trying to figure out if it will go on my csa.
Location was I75 in Ohio Southbound mm 164. -
I believe if there is no inspection then there would be no CSA reporting. Fight the ticket with one of those CDL lawyers, just tell him to drag it out 3 years then when you get convicted it is already off your MVR anyways.
pattyj Thanks this. -
The ticket is $125. I think I would spend more money on the lawyer. I'm just worried about my csa score. I am getting conflicting answers.

If the patrolman was trained for dot regs specificly than yes it will go to csa.
Most HP are trained on dot regs and ticketing where as city cops might not be.
At least thats how i was taught.
