I typically stay out 25 days and come home 5-6 days.

I stay out 2-3 months then take 10 days off.

When I was otr, out 2 or 3 weeks, 3-5 days home

Alien term to me, no doubt! LOL
In all seriousness, take off less than a week per year. But, that it my choice & my life.
Hometime should be a serious consideration for most folks, though.

Generally 3 days after 4-5 weeks out.
Three FULL days off, mind you.
If I deliver any time on Tuesday I take Wednesday thru Friday off, and come back at around 1000 Saturday.
Never earlier than 1000 because I have to get all my stuff back in the truck, and I will not wake up too early on my last morning at home. -
