Does anyone know why they named it Budwiser when it doesn't make Bud wiser?

Answer: Because Budummer wouldn't sell much Clydesdale whiz, light or otherwise:rolleyes:

Hernando County, Florida -- Troopers say the cause of backups on I-75 SB at SR-50 Tuesday morning due to an overturned beer truck all started because of a small dog.

The Florida Highway Patrol says the driver of a Budweiser tractor trailer, 23-year-old Malcolm Wilcox, got distracted by a small dog inside his cab and lost control causing him to travel onto the outside shoulder. When he over-corrected, the semi traveled across the roadway and collided with the center median guardrail and overturned.

As a result, most of his load of beer cans spilled onto the roadway, closing the inside lane for more than three hours.

No one was injured, including the dog.

You guys are right about light beer, and from the size of that driver it does not look like he was sampling the product.

From what I found trying to find out if he drove for bud or another carrier a couple of news agencies just couldn't help themselves when writing it up. Found 100 cans of beer on the road pick one up 99 cans of beer, another was saying that the adopt a highway people in that area just got served.

Don't give them any ideas about the dog, that would be animal endangerment on those trucks.

That non-driver trucker needs to man up and not blame the dog. Next thing you know these knee-jerk bureaucrats will outlaw dogs in the cab.

At least the Bud Light is in the proper place - the ditch.

Ads for Samuel Adams used to say Budweiser spills more beer in a day than we brew in a month.
