Actually I don't know where my sim card is truthfully. I think what I will do is get a whole separate reloadable phone for what I am trying to do.

It's funny you should post this today. Last night, I was trying to figure out which would be cheaper... I reflash my HTC M8 to use as a prepaid phone for when I start crossing into Canada. Or, get a prepaid burn phone from a Canadian store, or get a ultra cheap phone from the states with a plan that includes Canada usage, and keep my current plan for data use in the states (which I will be here more than Canada). My current plan doesn't have the option to add Canada, and I am still on Verizon's old unlimited plan and don't want to change plans and risk losing it just for occasional border crossing loads.
scottied67 Thanks this. -

I bought this iPhone 5SE from the Apple store. I think it was 4 or 5 hundred straight out the door with no contract.
I think it’s the perfect size. -
I don’t need any advice

I’m a trailer driver. I will share from personal experience that IPhones will work on any carrier network. The service in areas will separate one from the other T-Mobile and Sprint has the worst. I had the best luck with Verizon.
