The Judge is in a motel til monday morning.
    This.
    This.

Snafu should result in what i requested.
$500/day layover for 3 days, truck & driver since it was the shipper who screwed up on the receiving date.
$246.68 for 3 nights here in motel.

Be better than staying in truck til Monday morning.

I had a great morning. Two drop and hooks, now pointed toward Casa Grande in saguaro land. And I got planned for a load from there to Texas, and then from Texas back to Prescott Valley, for a total of roughly 3600 miles on this check. Not bad for a 68 mph truck.

The Borg wants me to go to Grand Junction because the Pilot there has extended their Labor Day sale on diesel, but the Borg doesn't realize there are big hills between Nebraska and Grand Junction, because the Borg is kind of stupid. So after I leave the world-famous Bosselman's Travel Center, where I have fueled, scaled, showered, and eaten, I will be heading toward the Holdrege turnoff, where I'll make a sharp left headed toward Alamogordo and the delicious food at the KentKwik Travel Center. From there, I'll enjoy a leisurely drive on I-10 to Casa Grande. Eventually I'm going to need to stop somewhere for provisions, too.

In all of my years I have never seen a year like this... It has been so humid and wet this year that moss and liken is growing on the trees!!! I live in what is basically a desert... Usually pretty dry.

Well, They didn't like my $1500/3 days for $500/day, but have already adjusted for $1000.
Maybe one day I'll learn to say $2000 and then they'll cut it to the $1500, I just always forget everyone likes to cut things.
But that'll cover this room for 3 days plus something that for most won't pay anything but will say, "Sorry for the confusion, but we'll appreciate you being on time... yada yada"

Well just sit here and take the extra grand and watch televison.

Reach for the moon, but grab all the stars you can as you retrieve....
(And retrieve slowly and sporadically. Let none slip thru spread fingers..)
