I take it that the union has empowered the employees at that location.

My nearly-two-year quest for decent local work has come to an end......looks like I'm going back on the road.

Slinging gas for the Borg is not sustainable, for reasons I won't go into here.

Just found out today that I can't transfer to food grade and sling HFCS for the Borg. I have to be in my "currently assigned division for a year."

Not happening. I made more money with less aggravation running "east of the Rockies regional".

I checked with my old boss, he has a truck for me, asked him how much lead time he needed to get me onboard, he said, "About 48 hours."

Still haven't decided how much, if any, notice to give the Borg. I'm off tomorrow anyway, and Friday/Saturday would finish the pay week.

And during orientation, the Borg took every opportunity to remind me my employment was "at will", terminable by "either party at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice"......

I'm fed up with filling out applications, talking to recruiters, then getting ghosted.

I'm tired of being lied to by people who never drove, then listening to them try to weasel out of their BS when I call them out on it.

    That's all I got......

There will be absolutely no smoking on this trailer today. At least until this stop is delivered, don't want to end up on YouTube.

One of the few times in over 40 years of working that I quit any job without notice, I waited till my last check was deposited and then called to tell them I was walking away from their "walkaway lease." They reported that I was "not rehireable" lol, like I'd ever apply to work for those ######## again. They also held back over $5000 that wasn't theirs when I turned in the truck. I did get a little over $600 from joining a class action suit a few years later though.
