    Your a name,not a number.
Yet when you communicate “What’s your truck number?”

When you call inquiring about a job, and they reply with 'sure, let me connect you with a recruiter'. That's an automatic red flag, and the call ends right there

Most recruiters know nothing about trucking or the business. Technically a waste of time individuals who only tell you want to hear. They're used to entice a driver or O/o 99% of the ime for a small commission. I had one email the other day only to show me how of a moron she is after I already went in for the interview with a pompous compliance manager who thought he was a super trucker attempting to dismisses me with my experience and truck. I told them to kick rocks, and was currently in the process of running my own Authority. They initentionally emailed me saying they had found another o/o who met their standards. I laughed and went on my business igoirung it. 2 weeks later she messaged me again saying my experience meets their qualifications. Lol what a joke and now they messaged me again saying im on their data base for qualified O/o's.

Its a super clown show out there and anyone who can't see this has to be the Ring Leader!

They called me the day after I applied, and invited me to orientation.Ain’t no way they process a application that fast(Red Flag)
They get you in orientation while they process the app, then throw you out if your no hireable.

"WE KNOW DRIVERS BY YOUR NAME, BY THEIR TRUCK NUMBER."

Can't stand that. I don't care how or if you know me.

"THIS IS A PLACE TO CALL HOME."

No it's just my means of earning money.

I also don't like when recruiters try to entice me with sign on bonuses, direct TV in the trucks, or any other type special amenity that does nothing to bring added value to road lifestyle for me. Bonuses can be taken away at any time so I put no stock in that. I don't care if you have a gym, merchandise store, or anything along those lines. The only thing I want recruiters to talk about is money, the number of miles they can guarantee(a reasonable number without over promising), freight/lanes, and equipment/maintenance. I've got a good grasp on how to navigate the industry and I don't really care about what few luxuries some companies offer. I don't like companies trying to "make me feel good" by swelling my head with inauthentic compliments, or trying too hard to connect with me..business only.

The words "you can make 'up to' " Ya, some will but most won't. Pay up to X per mile.

From what I’ve seen and heard, those companies(covenant is the most obvious examples, in fact any company based in the “bible belt”)are the most abusive & dishonest companies out there. To me they are mostly “pray on Sunday and lie the rest of the week”.

It's also not exclusive to trucking companies. There are a lot of businesses that fly the fish banner, bible verses, etc... hoping to capitalize on using the Lord's name and likeness, so to speak. I'm not sure, but I'm guessing the Lord may not approve of the use of his name for the purpose of personal gain.

The “We treat you like family” and bible verses are especially red flags for me,which usually tells me they’re a bunch of hypocrites!

“We treat you like family” all right…
    The Manson family!!

The ones that toot their horns about fuel bonuses, mileage bonuses and safety bonuses have their caveats as well.
