I am looking for the pros and cons of the dash cams that are being used big rig drivers. I have been using an Roadhawk HD for the past two years. I have a few issues with it and may be replacing it soon.

Pros: Wide angle, crisp, clear video and works well at night. Also has a built in GPS. Records in one minute segments which can be looped together if needed. It has a event button and can be set to record an event in case of impact.
Cons: This camera supposedly accepts up to a 64 GB SDHC card, but mine rejects any SD card larger than 8 GB. I have been through four SD cards, and once the camera rejects the card, it is time for a new one. I can only review or play the captured video using a laptop that accepts the SD card.

With that said, just seeing what everyone else is using and what you like and dislike about it and what the cost of the camera is.

I was using Cobra bought at Love's (I bought it for over $150), but the thing was unreliable for me. It was turning off all of sudden and unexpectedly. Finally, I dropped it and broke it bad enough to dispose of it and was not sad about it. Lately, at my Costco shopping, I saw a new fancy version of Cobra for $122. It seemed different and better, it had a speed recorder and GPS location. But it is Cobra again, so I don't know. Garmins, reportedly, have a better reputation.

Garmin. Going strong for about 2-3 years. Save me once when a lady force me off my lane into another car and ran. Safety review it and change it to non preventable
