Why don't we run off road diesel in our reefers?

Where I work, we have customers that have a contract with local fuel distributors that top off the reefers running in their drop yards...they fill them with red dyed fuel.

It’s legal to use off-road diesel in a reefer. You need to check local ordinances as far as the tank goes.

Maybe I'll spec a 100 gallon reefer tank on the new trailer. Fill it with red when I can.

I just started reefer so this will be my first tax year for it but all the taxes paid on the fuel should be returned at tax time.. Irs form 4136.

If you ever get thru montana. They sell red fuel at the town pumps

When it's the hippy's turn to fuel they fill up a five hundred or a thousand gallon tank trailer and head back up to their illegal pot grow.
