How do you get a Gopro to loop? I have a session 5 black and it doesnt loop. Also...do you keep it permanently plugged into a charging port? Cos my battery life sucks.

  4. check your GoPro settings it has how long you want to record 30 sec to 3 min. interval. yours may not,. check out GoPro Hero4 Silver. ya don't have to get the $500. black version.

You are wrong. If you are in a rest area, you are on part of a public roadway, and are subject to inspection. If you are not in attendance, then dont answer the knock on the door. If you do answer the knock on the door, guess what, you are in attendance. Like it or not, that is the truth. If you are on private property, that is a different situation. Argue that at your peril if you like. You will lose. Both in your interaction with the DOT officer, and with the judge if you decide to persue that avenue.

TI use a Gopro3 on the dash, it has a loop setting with various time sets, I also built a small regular and charge cord out of a old battery pack that draws power of the truck as long as the truck is running.. Im sure somebody makes a dc cord although I have not looked for one.

According to the CHP Sgt here in Mojave they can not enter your cab / sleeper without either consent or suspesion, only at the Canadian border have I had them want to inspect my sleeper and then it was for firearms not restraints., if you have a sleeper keep the curtain closed when going thru sclaes or inspection areas, and keep your doors locked.

he's wrong. Many are when it comes to this point.

You're trying to make this out like it is a rights issue when it isn't.

This is a regulated industry and we have regulations that we have to follow, one is about inspections for safety and compliance.

The cab is part of the inspection and no consent is needed,

The sleeper only is when it comes to the bedding, sheets and safety equipment.

If they want to touch anything else, then they have to have consent.

On the border, Mexico or Canada, Customs has the right to inspect the cab, sleeper and any other part of the vehicle, personal belongings and electronics. They do not need to give you a reason or wait for your permission.

AND if you are within 100 miles of a border, they can do that too.

Law enforcement officers are much like drivers-- read the regs to 10 of them and get 12 different interpretations.

Is unopened alcohol allowed inside the cab/sleeper of a CMV? I enjoy looking for rare Bourbons when I'm on the road.
