Buc-ee's "Spreading the Love", Expanding Into the Midwest

They are going to build a giant Bucees travel center in deforest Wisconsin

 

Sadly they still won’t allow trucks

 

As big as they're getting, it's too bad. They could probably give trucking companies a decent discount on fuel.

 

take a look their mgmt positions! heard they work you but the #s/benis aren't too shabby...they also got rid of their most prized possession the pastrami sandwich they had going & my other bone to pick with this Texas company is they dont carry LoneStar beer & other TX products, I've brought it up to their mgmt in Daytona Beach, FL - its become a tourist stop but still cheapest fuel without a membership fee (sams club / Costco)...so that's unbeatable but the towing RVs are always plugging the place up & they too hang out & do 10s in fuel islands so the RV towers are the bonehead truckers of BuC-ees

 

Had a Buccees mgr tell me they will never allow truck parking. Don’t want to deal with the pee bottles and trash.

 

Can’t really blame them on that…I wouldn’t put up with that bs either…

 

I buy all my ethanol free gas from them for use in my outboard and lawn equipment. There’s one near my house, I’ve never stepped foot inside though.

 

They are building one in northern colorado. South of Johnson corners and north of Loves on I-25.

 

They just built one on I-95 in Florence, SC. They tried in Efland, NC and there was ALOT of pushback from the local population and Bucees pulled out.
They are on the expansion kick right now

 

Anyone have any idea if there's any sort of wait time for a trainer for new hires?
