I use to hate going there...last time I was there, they were behind as usual, and the drop lot looked like Afghanistan after an American bombing run.

Ah weekends, when they send you to pickup at a place that’s closed down until 06:00 Monday and then won’t respond to messages or pick up the phone. Had to call in for a money code Friday night and was on hold for 55 min. Worst part is the constant “thank you for holding, a representative will be with you momentarily”

    O.Henry Thanks this.

Any story on this truck damage yet? Looks interesting.

If I had to guess, I'd say someone banged the side of it with a suspended load, either a forklift or overhead crane.

    EDIT
Just realized the most likely scenario for that damage is a close encounter with an oversized load.

NEW starting pay on September 1st is .51 CPM. Why is that...
Too many short runs? Are the miles not there??

Good to know. I didn’t sign up yet, I got accepted BUT they said .49. I have years of experience but they will only go back 5 yrs.
    IF I wait till September 1st it’s .51.

    A few questions...
Is the per diem kicking in? I heard it’s .14 CPM off your total miles a week which I personally like since company drivers can’t deduct the 63.00 dolllars a day anymore.
    AND
How are the Walmart dedicated fleets? Have you heard anything from the guys. They said less miles but your on a sliding scale and grossing over 85K. How true is that??

Thanks in advance for your reply.

That’s industry standard now. Bottom of the barrel pay is around .42 cpm. No reason under the sun to drive a truck for less than .45 cpm.

Way overdue, the industry ran out of people willing to work 7 days a week for $700 bucks.
