They don't require us to follow their routes, however, our mandatory fuel stops are along the 'suggested' routes. And, they try to make you believe that if you use a toll road that isn't on the 'suggested' routes, they'll take the toll amount out of your pay.(I have yet to see that happen, but I'm not saying they won't)

One thing I will miss (a little) when I leave is banana loads. I love how quick the unloads go, and the live loads aren't bad either. Picked up my load from the Leonard's banana cross dock this afternoon. From check-in to driving out the gate it was just over an hour, including load locking them in and doing Peoplenet stuff. It took that long, partly because I had to wait for another Shaffer to drop his trailer at a door next to where I was suppose to back in to, so they could preload it for the next driver. I guess they took all but one drop trailer out of there, but with quick live loads like that, really, who needs them. Left Breezewood this morning, delivered in Columbia, MD, headed up to Wilmington where I live loaded, and made it back to Breezewood before shutting down...and I did it Frank Sinatra style - as in 'I did it my way'...

Saw a grumpy driver like me sitting behind the wheel. I get off at Bedford to head to the house. Enjoy reading!

However, they DO care about your fuel routing compliance, and their fuel stops ARE on your provided routing.
So, if you get a stupid routing, take a better route, and after you get more than a few miles down the better route, send in a form 32 for a new fuel routing, starting from your current position. You will get a new route and a new set of fuel stops. If it's still a dumb route, drive farther down the good route and send in another 32.
Just don't run out of fuel. There are still some places in the US where a quarter tank of fuel might not get you to a safe fuel stop.
Not sure if this will work for a multiple stop fuel routing plan after you fuel at the first stop.Lonesome and newbietrucker91 Thank this. -
Those “fuel solutions” are automated. As stated by @Farmerbob1, you can always request another one, or you can just add that to the already long list of things you like to ##### about.
