I am shocked by her departure. I got along great with her. When I spoke to her yesterday, it didn't sound like she was quitting, so either this was a spur of the moment thing, or she is good at hiding her plans. She was working on a plan to let me run a few miles between now and next thurs/fri. I never even got the load offer, I had to call Chad to see if it was still in play. He sent me the load she had told me about that delivers in OH on Monday, but after that I have no clue as to what other plans she was exploring. And of course, we probably will never know if it was her quitting or them firing her over something she said or did. I know that office was a madhouse, especially during Jennie-O's busy time, not sure how anyone could keep their head on straight under that kind of pressure.

 

Sitting at Pilot in Milwaukee. Out of hours. Cleaning my truck. Driving to the house tomorrow for a meal with the fam and 10 days not in the truck. I don't think I'm as excited about home time as I should be. I'm totally zoned into driving every day. Maybe I was brainwashed and didn't realize it. Lol!

I'm shocked too. Ashley was my favorite dispatcher who always treated me with respect and professionalism....
She came along way from her days as the Southwest region dispatcher. I will miss her very much.....
